Our Story

Feeding your smile.

Remember peaches that dripped down your chin? Passionfruit that actually tasted like passionfruit? Somewhere along the way, supermarkets swapped flavour for shelf life - and we all ended up with perfect-looking food that tastes like nothing. Dimples exists to fix that. Real fruit, real meat, real seafood, real groceries - from growers, butchers and fishmongers who reckon what lands on your table should be worth eating.

Keeping the weekly shop simple.

Life is full. Between work, kids, school runs and everything else on your plate - the weekly shop shouldn't be the thing that breaks you. We built Dimples because we were tired of doing it the hard way too. Farm-fresh food, delivered to your door, week in week out. No compromises. No sad fruit. Just great food, every time.

Built by food people. Run by a family

When the two families came together, everything clicked. The Lorentis brought decades of industry depth, farmer relationships, and an uncompromising standard for quality. Jaeger and Claire brought the operational drive, the brand vision, and the perspective of the customers they were building for - busy families who wanted real food without the runaround.

Today, Jaeger and Claire run Dimples day to day. The 2-day cut-off before delivery isn't a logistics quirk — it's a commitment. It means your produce is picked fresh for you, not sitting in a warehouse wondering when someone will notice. Every decision comes back to the same question: would we be happy putting this in front of our own kids?

Gorgeous Aussie Foods.

Australia grows some of the best food on the planet - and most of it never reaches a supermarket shelf at its best. Our job is to find it, buy it at its peak, and get it to your door before anything else does.

Picked for flavour, not shelf life.

Supermarkets optimise for shelf life. We optimise for flavour. There's a difference- and you'll taste it by Wednesday

Real people, both ends

We know our suppliers by name and our customers by their order notes. The relationships we've built - from the grower to your door - are the whole point. When you order from Dimples, you're not feeding an algorithm. You're feeding your family, and backing people who care.

If it doesn't taste amazing, it doesn't make the cut. From everyday staples to the season's best treats, taste is the whole point.

We work with farmers who have our home at heart. Good food should be good for the land it grows on, too.

Seasonal favourites plus a few things you've never tried. Your order is a little adventure every week.

Big families, small ones, fussy eaters and all. We take the stress out of the weekly shop, week in, week out.

The weekly market shop, without leaving the house.

Our Team

Bringing together two families of foodie love.

Carlo

Carlo arrived from Italy at 12 and was working the Sydney Food Markets by 15. Three decades, multiple produce awards and one "Mango King" title later, he's one of the founding backers of Dimples - and the standard we measure every box against. We can't get anything past him, and we wouldn't want to.

Susan

Susan and Carlo owned and ran one of Australia's most successful independent grocers for 30 years before co-founding Dimples. She believed busy families deserved fair prices and genuinely good food - and saw in Dimples a way to keep that going. Her decades of grocer wisdom are baked into how we do things, from sourcing to service.

Julian

Julian has done every job at Dimples -packing boxes in the warehouse, answering your messages in customer service, and now delivering to your door. There's a decent chance he's touched your order at three different stages. If anyone knows how your box gets from market to doorstep, it's him.

Jaeger

Jaeger has spent 14 years in fresh food developing two superpowers: spotting quality at a glance, and refusing to pay too much for it. As Head Buyer, he's the one at the markets before sunrise making sure only the good stuff ends up in your box — real, unprocessed food at prices that don't sting.

Claire

Claire runs Brand Partnerships and, more importantly, a busy household - so she's also our resident reality check. Every product gets the same test: is it genuinely healthy, does it actually taste good, and would she serve it to her own family on a chaotic Tuesday night? If the answer's no, it doesn't make the cut.
