Satay Chicken Tenderloins with Traditional Peanut Sauce
This will take you on an adventure in your living room.
As if you had taken a trip to Penang and pulled up a chair on the side of a road "Mamak"
Ingredients included
500g Free Range Chicken Tenderloins
1 x Malaysian Base Marinade for Skewers
The paste is a signature Dimples marinade, made in house by toasting off the spices and then blending with local ginger, galangal and garlic
1 x Peanut Finish Sauce
The paste is a signature Dimples sauce, made in house by toasting off the peanuts, then the spices and blending with palm sugar to create a true Malaysian Peanut sauce.
How to Cook
1. Rub the Malaysian spice base all over the tenderloins. Get the BBQ or Pan to High.
2. Cook the skewers until charred on all sides and cooked through
3. Serve the skewers with the peanut sauce to dip or pour over the top
Notes *
1 If you have a charcoal fuel BBQ that will enhance the flavour and smokiness
2 Very important to have a hot surface, so the marinade doesn't induce a broil
3. The peanut sauce is not the marinade, don't put it on prior to cooking
