Preheat your oven to 180°C. Place the pork into a roasting tray and coat it well with about half of the Char Siu marinade, rubbing it over the whole roast so it’s nicely covered. If you have time, let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes to absorb the flavour.
Roast in the oven for around 60 to 75 minutes depending on the thickness of the pork, until it’s cooked through.
In the final 5 to 10 minutes, brush the remaining marinade over the roast and return it to the oven. This helps create that nice sticky Char Siu glaze on the outside.
Once cooked, let the pork rest for about 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
