Gado Gado Bowl
Ingredients Included
1 x Baby Wombok Whole - Slice very fine
1 x Flat Beans 200g - Slice Fine
1 x Bean Sprouts 250g - Wash
1 x Dimples Satay Peanut Sauce
1 x Cucumber
Pantry items not included
4 x Eggs
Pair your protein and Carb
Suggested Additional Proteins: Tempeh or Chicken Tenderloins
Suggested Side Carbs: Boiled Potatoes, Vermicelli Noodles, Jasmin or Brown Rice
How to Cook
1. Chop the veg, blanch the flat beans and 1/2 of the bean sprouts for 20 seconds only.
2. Combine the Salad by: Toss the Wombok with the blanched veg. Top with fresh bean sprouts.
3. Plate up by; Placing the salad in the middle, then making little piles of your different components i.e. carbs, eggs, cucumber around the outside like a moat to a castle.
4. Drizzle the peanut sauce over and enjoy.
* I like to blanch only half of the bean sprouts and reserve the other half for the fresh crisp texture.
**Chicken tenderloins pan fried with olive oil and garlic then shredded with a fork is an awesome way to make this a full meal.
