Udon Noodle Bowl - Base
Cold Udon Noodle
Intended as your starter base for building out your summer noodle bowls using Udon and combining with a Vietnamese caramel - perfect for accompanying all proteins.
In summer it is Intended to serve cold-with salads and proteins or alongside dumplings/gyozas.
Accompanying Suggestions to serve with - sesame prawns, lemongrass chicken, poached chicken with shallots, pork belly or anything to be honest.
Ingredient included
1 x 200g udon noodles
1 x Sticky Asian Marinade
1 x Fried Eshallot and sesame
1. Heat the noodles as per the packet, once cooked, strain and then place in cold water with ice cubes.
2. Once cold, strain and leave the ice cubes in the noodles, toss with the vietnamese caramel
3. Serve; Take the ice cubes out, top with sesame seeds and fried shallots. Additional Garnishes to try; Chilli, seaweed, edamame, shallots, bonito flakes.
